Claudia Kishi

More fan art! This time it's Claudia Kishi, member of the Baby-Sitters Club. Claudia, as a Japanese American, is an iconic Asian American book character, as back in the 80's there weren't many. She stands out especially because many Asian American characters back then fit the stereotypes, and were shy, studious, and smart. Claudia is outgoing, hates school, and loves art and fashion. She inspired the short Netflix documentary, "The Claudia Kishi Club," which features the song "Claudia Kishi" by the Linda Lindas.
